Robot 2.0: While Rajinikanth is stylish, Shankar is a scientist, says Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is soon expected to start shooting for the third schedule of the much-awaited sci-fi film, Robot 2.0 with Rajinikanth in Chennai.

Despite having worked with dozens of directors in his career spanning over 25 years in Bollywood, Aksahy Kumar believes that Shankar is not a director but a scientist since he likes to explore the beauty of film-making.

The actor, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, said,

"Shankar is not a director, he is a scientist. He doesn't direct a film, he explores it, he experiments with a film, he discovers a film."

Talking about the experience of working with 'Superstar Rajinikanth' the actor revealed that despite being loved by millions, in reality, he is a very humble man.

"Rajinikanth is incredible. I remember my first meeting with him at the Mahurat shot in Chennai. He was sitting there calmly and so was I. I didn't know anybody there. When he kept his one leg on another leg, everyone was like 'Sir ne kya style kia'. Even tired doing it, but no one reacted. So he is an actor with lot of style. If you meet him otherwise, he is a very humble man," said Akshay.

Also starring Amy Jackson, Robot 2.0 will hit the big screen next year.
