Robot 2.0: Akshay Kumar, Rajinikanth to shoot in Morocco

The Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth-starrer Robot 2.0 is one of the most anticipated films of 2017. The Shankar film is being shot at a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore.

The team, who is currently shooting for a prolonged football-themed action sequence at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Delhi will soon move to Morocco for the next schedule of the film.

According to a Times of India report, the Delhi schedule of Robot 2.0 will be wrapped up by first week of April, following which the unit will move to Morocco for another important schedule of the film - which will feature Akshay, Amy and Rajinikanth.

Robot 2.0 is a love triangle between Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar and is reportedly inspired by the Ramayana. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have also shot for a cameo in the Shankar directorial.

The film is set to release in 2017.
