Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba beats Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express to become highest grossing film of Rohit Shetty

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer film Simmba is doing quite amazing at the box office, the film is just roaring and it has broken several records of earning. Rohit Shetty directorial latest released film collected 100 crore mark in five days and it easily entered 200 crore club.

The film has now surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Rohit Shetty directorial Chennai Express starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. It has now become the highest become the highest grossing film of Rohit Shetty by beating his two big films Chennai Express and Golmaal Again.

According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba collected 2 crores on Tuesday, and with this, the total collection of the film reaches to around 230 crores. Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Simmba crosses *lifetime biz* of #ChennaiExpress and emerges Rohit Shetty’s highest grosser... [Week 3] Fri 2.60 cr, Sat 4.51 cr, Sun 5.30 cr, Mon 2.86 cr. Total: 227.71 cr. India biz. BLOCKBUSTER."

 

Significantly, the lifetime box office collection of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai was 227 crores. While Rohit Shetty's another film Golmaal Again collected around 205 crores.
