Bollywood producer and filmmaker Karan Johar launched director David Dhawan's son Varun Dhawan in films through his film Student of the year. Even though it is been a long 5 years now but till now Varun and Karan Johar have worked together in three films only and all three films were super hits. Now once again Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar are collaborating and this time also with director Shashank Khaitan.

As of now, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan had made two films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, the interesting thing was that both the films were made starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. However, now Shashank is again collaborating with his favourite star Varun Dhawan for a political thriller drama film.

 

This could turn as the fourth films of both Varun and Shashank under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, as Varun has done two Dulhania films and his debut film, and on the other hand, Shashank is the director of Dulhania franchise and also these days he is busy with another project.

Well, after directing Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Karan Johar gave a project to Shashank Khaitan to direct called Dhadak. Dhadak will be the debut film of veteran actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar. After Dhadak, Now Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame director will start his project with Varun Dhawan. The other star cast has not revealed yet but they have booked the release date of Diwali 2020.
