Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt's Dragon is not a superhero film, says Ayan Mukerji
It has been previously revealed that director Ayan Mukerji's next, Dragon, will be a fantasy film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. According to reports, Ranbir's character in the film will have the power to wield fire.
During the promotions for her family drama, Kapoor and Sons, Alia Bhatt had promised that Dragon will not be a run-of-the-mill fantasy flick.

Director Ayan Mukerji recently clarified:
"Superhero is not the right word. It is more about an adventure fantasy in modern day."
In the past, Catch had reported about Ayan's plan to make a Dragon trilogy. The director has finally confirmed these reports.

The movie is expected to go on floors by end of 2016 once Ranbir Kapoor wraps up all his pending assignments which include, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Jagga Jasoos and Sanjay Dutt Biopic. The makers are eyeing a late 2017 release.
