Rakul Preet Singh to provide home-cooked food to families in Gurugram's slum
Where everyone is either contributing for PM CARES Fund, CM Relief Fund or are helping the daily wage workers of industry Bollywood’s gorgeous actress Rakul Preet Singh has also contributed her bit, however in a different way. In a wake to help the needy people who are starving due to the nation-wide lockdown, Rakul thought to feed them.
The actress who hails from Gurugram has decided to help over 200-250 families living in a slum close to her home. From today her family will be preparing and sending home-cooked food to these families so that they don’t sleep empty stomach. They will be sending two meals a day till the lockdown is lifted and if the lockdown continues then her family will keep helping the people in the need.

As per Bollywood Hungama, Rakul said that her dad figured out this slum and till April she will continue to serve like this and then they will see depending on the situation. She added that everyone should do their bit especially the privileged people as this is the time to give it to society.

She further continued, “For me, nothing can give me more happiness than the smiles on these people's faces when they will eat their meal. And that will make me extremely happy. So that's my way of expressing my gratitude for everything I have and it is a very small effort.”
