Rajkummar Rao’s two films are set to release on same day
Rajkummar’s Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton are releasing in August
It will be Rajkummar Rao vs Rajkummar Rao on August 18 this time. The actor's two films are clashing at the box office. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s upcoming film which stars Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana apart from Rajkummar Rao was supposed to release on July 21. The makers had announced the release date after wrapping up the shoot earlier this year.However recently they decided to push the release date to August 18.
Rajkummar Rao’s yet another film Newton, which has received a positive feedback in festival screening, is also set to release on the same day.
Apart from those two, Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena, which is a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker will also release on that day. Haseena was to release on July 14 along with Jagga Jasoos but it was pushed it ahead.
