Raj Kummar Rao gives a devotional twist to Kala Chashma
The 90's Punjabi hit song Kala Chashma was recreated last year in Baar Baar Dekho, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif and now once again it has been used as a devotional song in Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Hasan starrer film, Behen Hogi Teri.
The teaser shows a jagrata setting where everyone including the lead actors sing this rock and disco version of Kala Chashma but as a devotional song for the goddess, Jai Maata Sherewali.
The song is written by Sonu Saggu sung by Sahil Solanki and Jyotika Tangri and the rap part is done by Parry G.
Sidharth Malhotra also took to twitter to acknowledge the team and wrote, “From #kalachashma to MAA! Good luck to team #behenhogiteri." (SIC)
The romantic comedy also features Gautam Gulati, Herry Tangri and Gulshan Grover. Directed by Ajay K Pannalal the film is slated to release on May 26.
