Qismat fame singer actor Ammy Virk to make debut in Bollywood with 83, starring Ranveer Singh; here's the first look
Recently, we see two Punjabi cinema actors and singers Diljit Dosanjh and Gippy Grewal made their debut in the Bollywood with Udta Punjab and Lucknow Central respectively. Now the Bollywood film industry is all set to welcome the third Punjabi actor-singer, Ammy Virk, actually, the actor is all set to make debut with the film called 83 starring Ranveer Singh, directed by Kabir Khan.
Sharing the video on the social media account, the presenter of the film, Reliance Entertainment, wrote, “Punjabi star @AmmyVirk will play #BalwinderSinghSandhu, who knocked out Gordon Greenidge in the ’83 World Cup final. #CastOf83 @RanveerOfficial @kabirkhankk @83thefilm #MadhuMantena @vishinduri #Relive83”

Ammy is quite a popular actor in Punjabi films and he had worked in films like Qismat, Nikka Zaildar, Harjeeta and Bambukat. The makers also announced the release date of the film, and the reports suggest that the film will release on 10th April 2020. 83 the film will tell the story of India's historic win against West Indies at the 1983 Cricket world cup. The film will see Ranveer Singh playing the role of Indian skipper Kapil Dev.
