According to latest buzz in the media, the Christmas 2017 clash between Padmavati and Tiger Zinda Hai has been averted.

Reportedly, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has run into a financial mess owing to the director's intention to mount the film at a humongous budget of 150 crore. The studios are not too keen to invest in the film as the stakes involved are too high.

While the work on pre-production has already started, the makers are now reworking on the budget as per the demands placed by various studios. The same has delayed the first schedule of the film which was expected to kick-start in Mumbai from first week of October.

Owing to heavy post-production, media speculations are also rife that the film starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead will now hit the big screen during the Christmas 2018 weekend which would result in a clash with Shah Rukh Khan - Aanand L Rai's next film.

Official confirmation about the development is still awaited.
