Official: First cut of Shah Rukh Khan's Raees is NOT 3 hours, 30 minutes

After almost 100 days of shooting, the Shah Rukh Khan-Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Mahira Khan-starrer is nearing completion. The shooting of Rahul Dholakia directorial, which is set to release in Eid this year alongside Salman Khan's Sultan, will be wrapped up very soon in Mumbai.

While many speculated that the first cut of the film is 3 hours, 30 minutes, director Rahul Dholakia took to Twitter to dismiss these reports. He tweeted:

"Now people are speculating on length of #Raees first cut ! kuch Bhi Bolte hai."

Raees will see Shah Rukh Khan essaying the character of a bootlegger - inspired by the life of Abdul Latif, a gangster from Gujarat. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen as inspector Majmudar. Raees also features Sunny Leone in a special dance number - which is a contemporary take on Firoz Khan's iconic Laila O Laila number.
