Not Kareena Kapoor or Parineeti Chopra, but Yami Gautam with Hrithik Roshan in Kaabil

Yami Gautam has added a great project to her kitty this year. The Vicky Donor star has been paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in his upcoming Kaabil, directed by Sanjay Gupta.

As soon as the film was announced, it was speculated that it will bring Hrithik-Kareena back on screen. Later, Parineeti Chopra was rumoured to have replaced Kareena in the film. However, confirming the news to Bombay Times, producer Rakesh Roshan said that Yami Gautam suits the role perfectly and they are glad to have the actor on board. He said:

"Yami is a fine actress and makes a fresh pairing with Hrithik. She suits the role to the T and we are glad to have her on board. After a long time, I have heard a novel story with all the commercial ingredients, so I'm very excited about it."

Earlier, it was also reported that actor Sunny Leone has been approached to perform a dance in the film. Confirming the news, Roshan senior said:

"We are currently in talks with Sunny Leone for the same. However, nothing has been finalised as yet."

Yami is currently gearing up for the release of Sanam Re, which features Pulkit Samrat opposite her. The Divya Khosla Kumar directorial is a romantic drama, also featuring Urvashi Rautela.

Hrithik, who is recovering from leg injury, will start shooting for Kaabil after Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro.
