NH 10 actor Darshan Kumaar to lock horns with Farhan Akhtar in Toofan
Farhan Akhtar played Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and won all the award for best performance. Now once again Farhan Akhtar has collaborated with the director Mehra for his next sports drama Toofan. Well, this will not be a biopic but a fiction story having sports in its backdrop.
In the recent past, we have seen some videos and pictures shared by Farhan Akhtar in which he can be seen preparing for his leading character of a boxer in Toofan. Recently, the film has gone to floors and according to the latest media reports, the film also has got its villain.
The media reports suggest that NH 10 and Mary Kom actor Darshan Kumaar will play a negative role in the film. He will be essaying the role of Maharashtrian boxer Dharmesh Patil and he has been training since last two months for his role. The team of Toofan also has set up a boxing sound facility for the actors at a factory off the Western Express Highway in Mumbai.
The actors used to trained for seven to eight hours daily to know the techniques of boxing. Darshan Kumaar also spends time watching Mike Tyson videos to learn the mannerisms of a boxer. Let us tell you that on Janmashtami, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra directorial Toofan went on floors and it was reported that Mrunal Thakur who was last seen in Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 will play the leading lady.
