Neither R Madhavan's Saala Khadoos, nor Sunny Leone's Mastizaade is shaking up the Box Office

Sunny Leone's sex comedy, Mastizaade, to everyone's (pleasant?) shock, opened with a lukewarm response at the Box Office. The film has collected around Rs 5 crore so far. The morning shows of the film were at par with last week's release, Kya Kool Hai Hum 3, however, it failed to sustain the momentum in the afternoon and late evening shows.

The opening day collections have pretty much sealed the fate of the film at the Box Office as such films seldom trend well. The film performed best in Rajasthan, Central India and Central Provinces.

The budget of Mastizaade is on the higher side and recovery would be difficult.

On the other hand, R Madhavan's sports drama, Saala Khadoos too failed to get a head start at the Box-Office. The film collected around Rs 2 crore on its opening day. The upward business in collections over the weekend will possibly ascertain the 'word of mouth' value for the film. The R Madhavan film has chances to trend well considering the fact that most of the critic reviews are not so negative.

Saala Khadoos is a bilingual film and has been released down south as Irudhi Suttru.
