Luka Chuppi actor Kartik opens up on dropping Taapsee Pannu from his next Pati Patni Aur Woh remake

Rumours were doing rounds that it was Kartik who didn't want Taapsee to be her co-star and convinced makers to replace her. Soon Bhumi Pednekar was roped in instead of her. But now Kartik has finally opened and declined the rumours and claimed that he is not in a position to decide the cast of a film.

He also said, "I shouldn't be commenting on this, but I read something about it. I didn't even know that she was a part of the film. And the part that she was talking about was Bhumi's part, which I got to know later on. Mera na Bhumi se kuch lena dena hai, na mera Taapsee se. Main beech mein kahaan se isme ghusu?"

BR Chopra the producer and director of the film Pati Patni Aur Woh is a comical drama where we'll see Kartik essaying the role of Sanjeev Kumar who has an extramarital affair, while Bhumi will be Kartik's wife and Ananya as a secretary with whom Kartik has affair. The movie is slated to release next year on 10th January 2020.
