Known for her songs like Lag Jaa Gale from Luka Chuppi with AR Rehman from Rang De Basanti the melodious voice of the playback singer has been the favourite of all. Today after turning 88 whether the legendary singer doesn't feel the age but, she gets the respect, love and warm wishes from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Devendra Phadnavis, Sachin Tendulkar, to the celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and Shankar Mahadevan.
