Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif seems to have opened up like never before. In the latest edition of GQ India, the actress has made some rather candid statements about her career, her life outside of Bollywood and her much-talked about love life.
Here are the seven statements that Ms Kaif made during her interview with the magazine:
On Ranbir Kapoor working with Deepika Padukone

On her equation with Salman Khan
"The base of my relationship with Salman was correct, it was true. Which is why we are still able to be friends. But he lives in a parallel universe, always making these jokes about me publicly, which get the media really kicked. Like the comment he made on Kapil's show when he saw my pictures on a set of crackers.
'She is of no use to me'! I called him and yelled at him. I can do that, it is the sort of equation we have. He said, 'Okay sorry I will apologize to the media'. I told him to do no such thing and maintain a dignified silence if that is possible."
On Ranbir Kapoor
Also read: 2 quick answers and Katrina Kaif proves she's boss when it comes to questions on Ranbir Kapoor"I am a very responsive person. So, if my partner gives me what I need, I can be the best girlfriend you can wish for."
On Kapoor's family
"I am not as close to Ranbir's family as I would like. But I would like to hang out with them more. Family would be a defining factor when I make the decision to marry.
On men
Also read: Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 9: Is Ranbir Kapoor talking about Katrina Kaif here?"See men and women, they're different. Women give birth to babies, men don't. We can't say 'oh equality on all levels, we're all the same. No, our biological needs and bodies are different.
Men have been the hunters and the philanderers. Being with an actor has its own set of issues, but the basic differences arise because men are men. Cheaters will cheat anywhere."
On love
"It all comes down to the cards you have been dealt. The person who have chose, because your heart chose him for you. Look around us, marriages and relationships are in trouble everywhere. The lucky ones are able to find selfless love that transcends ego and insecurity."
On whether she considers herself to be lucky one in the relationship
Also read: Katrina Kaif: As long as it is not nasty, I don't mind what people say about Ranbir and me"The back of my head wants to believe that I am. But the front of my head says be careful. I don't think I can make such claims, because were it selfless love, then I would not feel the need to assert myself as much in the relationship.
I would be more tolerant. I don't want to be tolerant. I don't want to accept it. I want to fight. I want to get what I think I deserve."
Do you know her better now?
