With the release date of Fitoor drawing close, the speculation over Ajay Devgn's character in the film have hit an all-time high. While the roles of Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Tabu have been publicised, no one seems to know much about the character Devgn will essay in Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of the Charles Dickens' classic, Great Expectations.

Like Akshay Oberoi, Ajay Devgn's character in the film has also been kept under wraps by the makers of Fitoor to add to the surprise element.

Ajay will reportedly essay the character of Aditya Roy Kapoor's godfather - a reprisal of Robert De Niro's character from the 1998 Hollywood film, Great Expectations.

In a recent interview for Fitoor promotions, Aditya allowed us a peek into Devgn's character. He said:

"It was great to work with Ajay Devgn in Fitoor. I worked with Ajay Devgn in my first film and working with him yet again in a very intense scene."

Kapoor, who has worked with Ajay Devgn in London Dreams, also revealed that working with him in Fitoor was a nostalgic experience.

"He still wears the same perfume and the smell took me back to the sets of London Dreams. He is a fantastic actor and it was great to shoot with him".
