Janhvi Kapoor, Sridevi's daughter thanked Madhuri Dixit for signing her mother's film with Karan Johar

Since a long time after the sudden demise of Sridevi, there were the reports that now Madhuri Dixit will replace Sridevi in Karan Johar's next film Shiddat. The film will be directed by Abhishek Varman and it is a multi-starrer film including Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sanjay Dutt.

Now Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor who is going to make her Bollywood debut through Karan Johar produced film Dhadak directed by Shashank Khaitan finally has revealed the casting of Abhishek Varman's film. Janhvi Kapoor wrote on Instagram by posting one picture of Madhuri and Sridevi. Janhvi's Instagram post reads, "Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart ...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film."

 

After that filmmaker Karan Johar himself come out and made some clarifications, he tweeted, "Some clarifications!!! Yes...we are honoured and humbled to have Madhuri Dixit on board for Abhishek Varman ‘s next! NO, the film is NOT titled SHIDHAT! Yes the film will Commence shoot in mid April! The films final cast and credits will be announced soon!"

With this tweet, Karan Johar also cleared that this film is not going to be titled as Shidhat and it will have a different title. Whether it is also being told that after a long time Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit are coming comeback together on silver screen.
