After Baby, Gabbar Is Back and Brothers, Akshay Kumar is back with a comedy after a long time. Singh is Bliing has already piqued audience interest and is sure to set the Box-Office ringing.

According to Akshay,

"I am very excited about Singh Is Bliing. The last two years have been challenging for me as I experimented with serious roles and tried to pass on a message. It's great to be back to commercial cinema. In fact, I consider myself lucky to be a part of such films. Currently, I am also shooting for Housefull 3 and that requires me to go wild, wilder and wildest! After Housefull 3, I will return to Rustom which is a serious romantic thriller. It is good to breath and come back again to doing different kind of characters."

Being a part of four films a year and playing four different characters is challenging for any actor. However Khiladi Kumar makes it all seem simple. In fact, he can't quite figure out the heavy weather made by some actors of getting in and out of a character. He said,

"Actors who say they take too long to come out of a particular character are just being fake. Let's be practical, we get nice vanity vans, good food, lovely ladies to work with... So it is never taxing to act in a film! Whenever someone says it was physically taxing to get out of a character, he is lying."

Brothers was Akshay Kumar's biggest film till date. However it failed to do the business was expected from it. Irrespective of that, Kumar is very proud of the film. He stated,

"I think Brothers is an average film, but I am really very proud of it as it has some of the most fantastic fight sequences and a lot of emotion. It is a film which is very close to my heart. It is about martial arts, self-defence... I introduced something new to the audiences and I am proud of it."

When asked if it would be better for him to be a part of two films a year, he said,

"I don't think I should do two films a year. Let us talk about the Maths. My films' production cost is say about Rs 40 crore. Yes, I know I have a release every three months but I ensure that my characters are different. And I produce the film, so the one to lose or make money is me. Whatever happens with the film, I am very happy with it. If a Baby does well or a Gabbar does well or a Brothers does not do well, I am responsible for it. It affects my pocket so it should not matter to others."

Akshay Kumar is a man of his convictions and plays steadfastly by his own rules. He explained,

"A few day ago, a light man thanked me for doing four films a year. According to him, when super stars make just a couple of movies a year, these people are out of work. Even my make-up man told me that he earns the most in the industry, in his field. Everybody is here to earn money and I don't think anyone has a problem with me being in the Forbes with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan."

Akshay's third release of 2016, Rustom will clash with Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro on 12 August. When asked if he would change the release date of his film to enable both to do well, he said,

"I think you should ask the producers of Rustom about the clash with Mohenjo Daro. I have no say in it."

Tiger Shroff, Sooraj Pancholi, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and many more star kids have debuted in Bollywood and are trying to establish themselves as actors. When we asked Akshay if being a star kid gives an actor an edge over others, he replied,

"Everybody makes it big in this industry on their own merit. It would be very wrong to say that they are in the industry because of their family. Just because you are an actor's son does not mean that you have not made it on your own. Everybody in this industry has to work hard and we all know that many star kids have failed to leave a mark because there is a difference between them and others who have made it big. You cannot survive here without working hard."
