In Pics: Salman Khan takes a break from Tubelight shoot to meet Dalai Lama with Lulia Vantur
Salman Khan, who is in Ladakh to shoot for his upcoming period drama, Tubelight, took time off the sets to meet spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, on 11 August.
In the photographs making rounds on social media, Salman and the Dalai Lama can be seen sharing a hearty laugh.
However, the Times of India has posted photos that show that Salman was accompanied by his alleged girlfriend Lulia Vantur.
She has been cropped out of the photos of Salman and the Dalai Lama that are being circulated on Twitter and other social networking platforms.
Other Bollywood personalities who have called upon the Dalai Lama are Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Arjun Rampal, among others.
During his stay in Ladakh, Salman also plans to visit a number of hospitals in the region and provide support to those in need via his Non-Profit Organisation, Being Human.
Dr Zahid from SNM hospital took to Twitter to confirm that Khan visited the hospital to provide free heart surgeries and treatment to the underprivileged children.
Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan, will release on Eid next year.
