The Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has always been underestimated as an actress but she always has praised for her fashion sense. However, no one can deny that she has given good performances in the film like Raanjhanaa, Neerja and others. Even she got a national award for her performance in Neerja.

The actress has always been spoken the social issues and especially related to women-oriented issues in the industry. Recently the actress opened up about the issue of discrimination of the fees in male and female actors in the film industry. She took the participate 'We The Woman' session and she told that she got a secondary treatment in other competitions.

She openly said that she never works with those people who discriminate in gender and that's why she waited for a year till she got Raanjhanaa.

She said, "I got much more than Dhanush in Raanjhanaa and I know how much my film will do business at the box office. Since Raanjhanaa I have not given a single flop so I know how much I am capable of,"

On the professional these days Sonam Kapoor is busy in the shooting of her upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding. Besides, this her new film PadMan with Akshay Kumar is all set to release on Republic Day weekend 2018. On the other hand, after 10 years she is going to collaborate with Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
