Hera Pheri 3: Ankita Shorey has signed this Akshay Kumar film but doesn't know when it will go on floors

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have signed up for the third installment of the hit comedy franchise, Hera Pheri.

The three actors will be seen reprising their characters, who have now attained cult status.

Hera Pheri 3 was announced in 2014. The launch event was attended by Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan along with the director Neeraj Vora among others. A few months later, actress Neha Sharma confirmed that she would be cast opposite John. Reports suggested that Nargis Fakhri had also signed on for the film.

While it had previously been reported that Akshay Kumar, who was an integral of the previous parts, would not feature in Hera Pheri 3, this was later proved false. While promoting Housefull 3, Abhishek Bachchan told Catch that Akshay had replaced him in Hera Pheri 3.

According to the latest update, Femina Miss India International 2011 Ankita Shorey has also been roped in for Hera Pheri 3.

At a recent event, the former beauty pageant winner told reporters:

"I had always maintained that whenever I will sign on the dotted line, I will talk about it, so yes, I have signed the contract (Hera Pheri 3) last year and I am very happy that I have got my money. But yes, I am still waiting for the film to go on floors and only the producers can tell you when is it starting."

"I have started looking into other projects now because I was supposed to be launched by the film, which is getting delayed. Time is what nobody in the industry has and time leaves you behind if you don't move along with it. It is okay that the film got delayed, I am sure it is going to be for the good."

"When I walked into this industry, I really didn't think that I will get a launch with such a big cult film or that at least I will sign it, so it was very good to at least be considered as a part of the project."
