Ganesh Chaturthi: Check out how Bollywood worshipped Lord Ganesha
It's that time of the year again when Bollywood celebrities don the traditional look. Ganesh Chaturthi, the most popular festival in Mumbai, began on Friday. It is a known fact that with many of the Bollywood stars, Lord Ganesh is their favourite.
And the industry went a song and dance over the event. Several B'wood celebrities welcomed Lord Ganesha and marked the revelry by decking up in the traditional fashion.
Some even brought home the idols of Ganesha and decorated their homes for Bappa Moriya. A few celebs took to the social media to share their pictures on this auspicious day.
Alongside, a couple of singers including Shankar Mahadevan and Benny Dayal offered their prayers to the elephant god by releasing songs on Bappa Moriya.
While Benny released “Ganpati Bappa”, Shankar Mahadevan's release was titled ‘Tutari’.
