However, Ranbir and Alia will finish their prior commitments before they begin work on Dragon as Ayan has demanded bulk dates from both stars. The director wants to shoot for the film, produced by Karan Johar, in one go and has requested the two actors to not take up any other offers during the shoot.
The superhero flick will go on floors in May 2017 and the shooting is expected to be wrapped up by the year-end. The superhero film has been planned on a grand scale with Ayan already working on the pre-production and co-ordinating with the visual effect teams.
