Dishoom 2, Kick 2, Judwaa 2, Housefull 4, Baaghi 2: Is Sajid Nadiadwala the king of franchises?
Sajid Nadiadwala has shown immense confidence in his upcoming film, Dishoom, starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, as the sequel has been announced before the film's release!
Reportedly, Rohit Dhawan and his team of writers have already locked the basic premise for the sequel, which will be developed into a screenplay following Dishoom's release. Sajid Nadiadwala has also been working on the script of Kick's sequel, which is expected to go on floors by the end of 2017.
Other franchises that Nadiadwala is at the helm includes Judwaa 2, Housefull 4 and Baaghi 2. While Judwaa 2 will go on floors by the end of 2016 with Varun Dhawan in lead, the producer has plans to extensively shoot Baaghi 2 in Shanghai.
Given the number of franchises Sajid is planning to produce under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson, wouldn't it be right to call him the king of franchises?
