Dhadak Box Office Collection Day 1: Heroic start! Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter’s debut flick nailed it with an amazing collection

As per the famous Bollywood film critic, Taran Adarsh has tweeted about the first-day collection.

He wrote on his Twitter account that ‘#Dhadak takes a HEROIC START... Rarely does a film starring absolute newcomers open so well... Day 1 is higher than #StudentOfTheYear [₹ 8 cr]… Fri ₹ 8.71 cr. India biz.’

Ishaan and Janhvi have already become a public figure. Ishaan name has also come to light when acted in a Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds last year. While Sridevi was also the reason behind Janhvi popularity. As Dhadak actress had made her presence with her mother at various public places.

The film Dhadak directed by Shashank Khaitan also stars Ashutosh Rana, Kharaj Mukherjee and Aditya Kumar.

Well, the film is about the story of two lovers, Parthavi Singh (Janhvi Kapoor) and Madhukar Bagla (Ishaan Khatter). Both of them belonged to different castes. Likewise, every Indian family’s mentality, when the Parthavi family come to know about her relationship with Madhukar, then, the situation becomes hell for them which forced them to elope. Well, there is no fairytale romance in the film, if you watch the film you will find.

Earlier, everyone’s expectation was very high with this film because it is the remake of Marathi’s blockbuster film Sairat. We must say that with its first-day collection, Janhvi and Ishaan’s debut film nailed it!
