Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of Bollywood's most talented actors. However, his choice of movies have not been quite in sync with the audiences' tastes. The actor, who last tasted a success in 2013, would now be hoping that his fortunes change for the better from next year.

The actor, whose recent release Tamasha failed to live up to the hype and expectations at the Box-Office, is now shooting for Karan Johar's directorial, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. While everyone has been talking about Ranbir Kapoor's back to back failures, Deepika Padukone decided to defend her co-star. In an interview during the promotions of Tamasha, Padukone said:

I have never come across any other actor who is being asked about his failure. You can't attribute the failure of a film to Ranbir Kapoor alone but unfortunately, he is being blamed for everything. He is being questioned as if he is the whole and sole reason for the failure."
Ranbir has two films slated to release in 2016, i.e. Jagga Jasoos and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
