Calendar Girls trailer: Everything within the comfort of director Madhur Bhandarkar

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is yet again ready to reveal the dark truth behind showbiz. The subject of the film might be the one roasted many a time, but Bhandarar surely excels this territory of film-making.

With his Calendar Girls, the director once again brings the portrayal of success, greed and betrayal on screen.

The 46-year-old National Award-winning filmmaker released the first official trailer of the film featuring five newcomers. Revealing the trailer, Bhandarkar took to Twitter and posted:

What does Calender Girls' trailer show?

The close to two-and-a-half-minute video tells the story of five upcoming models who are set to become the new faces of a calendar which is high on glamour quotient. It also shows how their lives go through a lot of ups and downs leaving them tormented.

Like his past projects, the movie shows the hidden secrets of high society and the beautiful looking world with a dominant darker side.

The film that faced a lot of delay marks the debut of Akanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh and Satarupa Pyne.

Presented by Mangalmurti films and Bhandarkar films. It is produced by Sangeeta Ahir and Bhandarkar Entertainment.
