Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's Mirzya raked in around Rs 6 crore on its opening weekend at the Box Office - to become one of the worst performing Bollywood films of the year.

The film, which marked the debut outings of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher, was mounted on a grand scale. While the satellite rights of the film were sold in advance, they will now be renegotiated - a move that is expected to result in heavy losses for the makers.

Mirzya failed to record any growth over the weekend. The collections on Monday are likely to be recorded in lakhs. The reviews and word of mouth have worked against the film.

On the other hand, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office. However, despite having no other films to compete with at the Box Office, the film has failed to trend well. There was a dip of 70% in the collections during the second weekend.

The 10 day collections of MS Dhoni; The Untold Story (Hindi + Tamil + Telugu) stand at Rs 109.30 crore.

The producers will entail minimal profits from the Rs 100 crore mark, given the high budget of the film. Brand Dhoni helped the film rake in big numbers in the opening weekend but the word of mouth came into force soon after.
