Box Office: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil takes lead over Shivaay in advance booking sales

The advance booking of Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has started all across the country and as per the early trends, the Karan Johar directorial starring Ranbir Kapoor has a considerable lead in terms of advance ticket sales over the Ajay Devgn film.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has recorded reasonable pre-bookings at metros like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad to name a few. However, on the other hand, Shivaay is leading over ADHM at mass circuits like Rajasthan, Bihar, Indore, and Gujarat.

In today's era where 60% of the overall business comes from multiplexes in metros, it is almost certain that the romantic film starring Ranbir Kapoor will open to better numbers than Shivaay until and unless some miracle happens in terms of spot bookings.

The entire MNS controversy helped Ae Dil Hai Mushkil get going in terms of awareness amongst the audiences at ground level and the same has also reflected in ticket sales. Both Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are certain to record collections in double digits; however, the opening day number would be largely dependent on spot ticket sales.

While business on the opening three days might stay on the lower side, the better film i.e. the one which rakes in better collections on Monday (post Diwali Day) will be the clear winner in this clash.
