BIFF to honour Veteran actor Nana Patekar with Life Time Achievement Award!

Upcoming Bodhisattava International Film Festival will felicitate veteran actor Nana Patekar with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense contribution to Indian cinema and unmatched dedication in the field of social work. Bodhisattava International Film Festival, organized by Grameen Sneh Foundation (GSF) is going to held from 16th to 23rd February, 2017 at Patna in Bihar.

"Keeping in view the massive response that the Film Festival received last year which attracted more than 150 artists from Bollywood and half a million footfall, Grameen Sneh Foundation through the cultural renaissance called, Bihar: Ek Virasat, has decided to hold an International Film Festival every year. This year from 16th to 23rd February, 2017; GSF is going to have a Mega International Film Festival at Patna. The venue for the Film Festival would be the grand Adhiveshan Bhawan in the Secretariat campus.

3543 Films from 122 countries have been received as entries to the festival under Feature film, Documentaries and Shorts categories. From which more than 150 movies to be screened and most of the films are from India, Iran, USA, France, Italy, Spain, U.K., Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Bangladesh, Canada, Portugal, Austria, Maxico, Poland Australia, Indonesia, etc. And many small countries are participating for the first time in such kind of festival.

Several mega stars from both, Hollywood and Bollywood have already consented to participate. People like Ketan Mehta, Vinit Kumar, Mahesh bhat, Adoor Gopal Krishan, Shatrughan Sinha, Shyam Benegal, Sawara Bhaskar. etc. have already confirmed their participation while Ms. Etami Borjam (Croatia), Ms. Carla Maria Losch (Austria), Ms. Anomaa Rajakaruna (SriLanka) and Mr. Antonio Urano (Brazil) have confirmed their participation as members of Jury. More than 2000 delegates and about a million footfall is expected every day".

Grameen Sneh Foundation (GSF) is a well-known name today at the national level for its commendable work in the field of Cancer detection in the rural areas. And to achieve its pious goal, GSF has been organizing several cultural programmes at national level. Its first Film Festival, organized by them last year, was an instant hit among the masses and elites. Keeping in view the massive response that the Film Festival received last year which attracted more than 150 artists from Bollywood and half a million footfall, Grameen Sneh Foundation through the cultural renaissance called, Bihar : Ek Virasat, has decided to hold an International Film Festival every year.
