Before Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor rejected three superhit films those could have changed his career
Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh has released and the response to this film is amazing. Fans are going gaga over Shahid Kapoor's performance in the film who had done the role of an acholic heartbroken surgeon. The film had done 70 crores business in just three opening days and with that, it has proved Shahid Kapoor's star power at the box office.
Shahid Kapoor had been a long journey in Bollywood and he had spent around 15 years in the film industry. Despite that, the actor didn't get that much and he always been an underdog to the box office success. Sometimes, his luck didn't work out and sometimes his decision of leaving some amazing films. Today we are going to tell you about the three movies that were offered to Shahid but the actor rejected them and later all three films turned out super hit at game changers at the box office.
Rang De Basanti - Shahid Kapoor was offered the role played by Siddharth in Aamir Khan's film. But Shahid rejected it due to some other films he was doing at that time. Later Shahid himself regretted of rejecting that film.
Rockstar - Shahid and director Imtiaz Ali worked together in Jab We Met, and after that Imtiaz offered Rockstar to Shahid Kapoor. Although, Shahid didn't show much interest to the film and later it postponed for some time and Imtiaz Ali started working on Love Aaj Kal. While shooting Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz Ali met Ranbir and they discussed Rockstar script and finally, it made with Ranbir Kapoor.
Raanjhanaa - South star Dhanush made a remarkable debut in Bollywood with Aanand L Rai's Raanjhanaa, but only a few people know that Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha were offered to play leading roles but they both rejected it.
