Before John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani offered Batla House to this Khan

Bollywood actor John Abraham starrer Batla House is going to release on 15th August in the theaters and this awaited film is already making a buzz. The film stars John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Nora Fatehi, and Kranti Prakash Jha in the leading roles. John Abraham is looking fit in the character of a police officer. But do you that the film was offered to another actor before John Abraham.

According to a report of Deccan Chronicle, director Nikkhil Advani offered the film to his first film actor, Saif Ali Khan. However, things didn't work and later it went to John Abraham. Let us tell you that Saif Ali Khan and Nikkhil Advani worked together in Karan Johar produced Kal Ho Naa Ho.

 

A source quoted in a media report, "Yes, Saif was considered for this role. He also heard the script, but he never officially signed the film because things didn’t work out for reasons best known to Saif and Nikkhil. Nikkhil, who has also worked with John in Satyamev Jayate, felt John would do justice to this role and later approached him for the same,"

John Abraham starrer Batla House is based on the true incident that took place in Jamia Nagar of Delhi in 2008. It was the encounter of Delhi Police for terrorist living there. However, later it became a controversy and some even called it a false encounter.
