The second instalment in the Bang Bang franchisegoes on floors today in Mumbai with leading cast members Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The film, which is an action entertainer, will be shot across Mumbai for eight days following which the team will fly to Miami for a month-long action-packed schedule. The makers have roped in Hollywood technicians and stunt directors for the film and both Sidharth and Jacqueline are expected to shoot for some high octane action sequences in the film with a huge portion of it to be shot underwater.
"Fly-boarding and hover-boarding, which involve rising above the water to pull off innovative stunts in the water wearing a jetpack, are on the agenda," quoted a source to Mumbai Mirror.
After the Miami schedule, the film will be wrapped up after its Malaysia shoot. The shooting is expected to be done by December 2016 and the makers are looking to release the film in mid-2017.
Though the film will be a part of the Bang Bang franchise, it would reportedly have a different title. The first film starred Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.
