Bandhua: Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif team up for this Aanand L Rai film

Four years after Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif have teamed up for Aanand L Rai's next film, tentatively titled Bandhua.

In the film, Shah Rukh Khan will essay the character of a little man whereas Katrina Kaif will be seen as a Bollywood film actress. According to our sources, Bandhua is a story of love between a little man and a Bollywood actress.

Initially, the makers were considering Katrina Meri Jaan as the tentative title for the film, however they finally zeroed down to Bandhua.

Bandhua is expected to go on floors in Mumbai by December this year. The team is currently working on the pre-production. Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies VFX is working to create a distinct look for the super-star whereas Aanand L Rai is giving the finishing touch to the screenplay.

Bandhua is a two heroine film. However, the makers are yet to lock the second female lead. The star-cast of the much-anticipated film is expected to be announced closer to the shooting dates.

Bandhua is set to hit the big screen on 21 December, 2018.
