SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion is setting new records even before its release. After pre-selling the distribution rights for a record-breaking amount, the makers have now sold the satellite rights of the Hindi version.

If media reports are to be believed, Sony TV Network has acquired the satellite rights (Hindi) for a record-breaking amount of Rs. 50 crore. The amount paid by Sony TV Network is the highest ever any regional film has received for the small screen airing.

Baahubali: The Beginning too was aired on Sony TV Network and the movie recorded a BARC rating of 2.07 crore, which is the third highest after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2.51 crore) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2.37 crore).

The official first look poster of Baahubali: The Conclusion will be launched at the Mumbai Film Festival on 22 October 2016. The much-awaited film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Shetty is confirmed for a 28 April 2017 release.
