Athiya Shetty to focus on her career

Athiya Shetty was last seen in Mubarakan which starred Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Ileana D’ Cruz. The actress made her debut in Hero two years ago with Sooraj Pancholi under Salman Khan Production house. The film did not do well but Athiya bagged her second film and it did well at the box office. However, the actress, who received mixed reviews for her performance, is now planning to focus more on her acting. A source says, “Athiya is pretty serious about her career. She is been willing to hone her skills and is looking for proper guidance from the professional. She is also willing to be known for her work and not in favour of being in the news for her alleged link ups with her co-stars or industry friends.”

After Mubarakan, Athiya is yet to sign her next film. A few days ago there were rumours that Athiya might feature in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s next after she was spotted visiting his office. But some reports suggest that it was just a casual meeting and they are not really working on any film as of now. After being linked to Arjun Kapoor, she was recently linked to Canadian rapper Drake after he started following her on photo sharing site post meeting her at London club.
