Alia Bhatt challenges me and inspires me as an actress: Akshara Haasan

Daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, Akshara made her debut with ‘Shamitabh’ in 2015. She is back with her second feature film, Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana.

Recently when the actress was asked amongst the Bollywood actresses, who does she consider competition. Akshara was quick to reply,. " Alia Bhatt. I remember watching her (Alia Bhatt) since her first movie, Student of the year. I love the way she has grown as an actor. I really respect her for that. It is so beautiful to watch her on screen. She is a natural and acting comes easy to her. Kudos to her for what she has achieved for herself. We always face competition even when we are in high school. Fortunately, when I met her, I felt she is a wonderful person... Alia challenges me and inspires me as an actress. If she can do what she has, I would like to do my best as well."

The film is directed by Manish Harishankar, that also stars Vivaan Shah and Gurmeet Choudhary along with her and is set to release in April first week.
