Akshay Kumar vs John Abraham once again! Batla House to clash with Mission Mangal; Saaho release date pushed

Prabhas starrer much-anticipated film Saaho has been postponed for two more weeks from its original date 15th August, Independence Day. The action-thriller Telugu film also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the leading role will now release on 30th August. Earlier there were the rumours of delay in the movie, however, now makers confirmed it by saying that they did not want to 'compromise on quality'.

“We want to bring the best to the audience. For bringing finesse to the action sequences, we need some more time. Although we are shifting the date from Independence Day but we want to stick to the month of Independence and patriotism with Saaho. We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale,” the makers said in an official statement.

 

Now when Prabhas starrer Saaho has postponed for next two weeks, so there will be only two films on Independence Day Weekend. Akshay Kumar alongside multi-star cast Mission Mangal and John Abraham starrer Batla House. Earlier it was three films were clashing at the box office, however, now only two films will surely give a relief to trade experts.

 

Meanwhile, now once again, Saaho will have to clash with two Bollywood movies, Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore and, Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starring Made In China. The interesting thing is that both the film Chichhore and Saaho will have Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles.

On the other hand, last year in 2018, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar had a clash at the box office with their respective films Satyamev Jayate and Gold. Both the films did amazing at the box office.
