Akshay Kumar - Reema Kagti team up for Excel Entertainment's next film?

Akshay Kumar has teamed up with Excel Entertainment for the first time in his career for a film that will be directed by Reema Kagti.

Although details about the film have been kept under wraps, the actor as well as Ritesh Sidhwani from Excel Entertainment almost confirmed the possibility of teaming-up on Twitter. Sidhwani took to Twitter on 20 October to reveal that some exciting announcement is on the cards. He tweeted,

"@kagtireema are you ready to strike #Gold tomorrow... something exciting coming up.. stay tuned @excelmovies"

After Sidhwani, it was Akshay Kuamr who tweeted something on similar lines. The actor, who is busy shooting for Jolly LLB 2, said,

"Super excited to share a news with you guys, it's as good as striking #Gold 😜 Details out at 5 pm today,so do tune in 😁 Any guesses ���""

While the details of the film have been kept under wraps, we expect some clarity on the same by Friday (21 October) evening.
