Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif to come together again for this project

There is some good news for Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as their fans will be able to see them together on the screen again. Akshay Kumar who will be seen in Karan Johar produced and Anurag Singh directed film titled Kesari, which will be based on the Battle of Saragarhi. Earlier there were reports that Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has been approached for the role of Akshay Kumar's wife but now the name has been chnaged and another actress has grabbed her role.

Now as per close reports who talked to a leading Entertainment daily, Pinkvilla, “Though media has written about Parineeti Chopra being in Kesari, there is strong speculation that it may not happen as her dates are clashing with that of Vipul Shah’s Namaste Canada in January next year. Katrina has also been approached by Karan Johar to play Akshay’s wife."

The source further said, "Akshay has always approached Katrina for most of his films including Singh Is Bling and Toilet… Ek Prem Katha but the actress has turned them down for her own reasons. But she seems to be considering Kesari as now her good friend KJo has offered it to her.”

Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar, both have been hanging out together quite often these days. They even flagged the 9th Akshay Kumar Kudo Tournament on Saturday and they even danced together after a long time.

Later, she even posted a picture on his Instagram account where she had all the praises for the actor. She captioned the picture as, “Akshay... You were right. You take better pics than me... Finally a picture together after a longgggggg time... Love you Akshay Kumar."
