Akshay Kumar's Airlift opened to glowing reviews. The film's acclaim has also translated into Box Office success - Airlift has entered Bollywood's prestigious Rs 100 crore club in just 10 days.

This is Akshay Kumar's fastest film to breach the mark - overtaking Rowdy Rathore, which entered Rs 100 crore club in 11 days.

Airlift witnessed steady growth in collections in its opening week. The collections of the film benefited greatly from the Republic Day holiday.

While Saala Khadoos and Mastizaade had threatened to dent the collections of Airlift, both films failed to perform well at the Box Office - making Airlift the top choice for viewers even in its second weekend at the Box Office.

Here's a look at the Box Office collections of Airlift in its second week:

  • Friday (29 January): Rs 4.50 crore
  • Saturday (30 January): Rs 6.50 crore
  • Sunday (31 January): Rs 8.26 crore
  • Total: Rs 19.26 crore

The film still stands a chance to break records to be Akshay Kumar's highest grosser till date. However, this depends entirely on how the film trends on the weekdays in the second week.

  • Rowdy Rathore: Rs 132 crore
  • Housefull 2: Rs 118 crore
  • Holiday: Rs 114 crore
  • Baby: Rs 96 crore
