Akira trailer: Sonakshi Sinha brings Bollywood's first full-fledged action heroine on screen
The trailer of AR Murugadoss' Akirais out and it shows Sonakshi Sinha in her first ever complete action avatar. In fact, it's the first full-fledged action role for a Bollywood actress.
Akira's plot revolves around a girl who has been wronged in Mumbai and sets out on a journey to defeat her tormentors.
The storyline of the film might not seem impressing, but with a cast that boasts of Anurag Kashyap, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Sonakshi herself, the film has definitely piqued our interest.

Produced by Fox Star Studios,Akira looks like a film loaded with commercial elements. Kudos to the fact that the makers are so sure of their lead character that they have not included any unnecessary romantic angle to the storyline.
Akira is slated to release on 2 September.
