The release date of Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho has been postponed to 12 May, 2017, thus opting out from the Republic Day clash between Shah Rukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil.

The film, which is set in the era of Emergency in India, is a story of three alpha males - portrayed by Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Vidyut Jamwal. The director, Milan Luthria, is currently busy with the pre-production that includes script development and location hunt.

Baadshaho will go on floors in August this year in Mumbai, followed by a prolonged schedule in Rajasthan. The film's shooting is expected to be wrapped up by the end of December, following which the VFX team will take over to ensure that it stays true to the period it belongs to.

It will be interesting to see the two biggies, Raees and Kaabil locking horns at the Box Office on 26 January, 2017.
