After Sultan vs Raees, has the Box Office clash between Rustom & Mohenjo Daro been averted?

Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan are currently wrapping up work on their upcoming releases, Rustom and Mohenjo Daro, which are in the post-production stage.

Both films were scheduled to hit the big screen on 12 August 2016. However, latest reports suggest that the clash has been averted. The Akshay Kumar film has been reportedly moved up by a week.

"Until recently, makers of both films were not willing to change their initial release date, but now it looks like Rustom will arrive in theatres a week before Mohenjo Daro," a source close to the developments told Mid-Day.

While Rustom is a thriller based on the Nanavati case, Mohenjo Daro is a period drama set during the Indus Valley Civilization.

An official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
