After Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty to direct Golmaal 5; film to release on Diwali 2020

Rohit Shetty is busy working on Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and that is quite clear. The director recently revealed shooting of Sooryavanshi will start from May month and will wrap up till July around. However, since then there are the reports that after Sooryavanshi, Rohit Shetty may take forward Singham franchise but it looks like Rohit Shetty has another plan.

Shreyas Talpade who has been a part of Rohit Shetty's Golmaal franchise from the last four films recently confirmed that Rohit is planning to direct the fifth instalment of Golmaal series. Shreyas Talpade in a recent interview said, "Like we gave a small hint in Aankh Maare, Rohit is also very keen that we do the fifth part of Golmaal. He is working on a story right now, which none of us are privy to. Eventually, he will tell us what our dates are for shooting, but I think it will be in 2020 when we should probably shoot for it."

 

Shreyas Talpade who is quite excited for Golmaal 5 and happy to work with Rohit Shetty said that he all hope that Rohit will soon call them for a shoot. "I am just keeping my fingers crossed as it is a great franchise, and we all have a good time shooting it together. Yes, we want to do the fifth part and we are hopeful that Rohit will crack a story soon and call us for the shoot." Talpade added.

 

Let us tell you that Golmaal series was started in 2006 with its first film Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, starring Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, and Sharman Joshi. However, later it turned into a series and till now four parts have been made in the franchise. Well, before that fans will get to Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi on Eid 2020.
