After Kapil Dev biopic, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s journey to be helmed by Karan Johar?

It’s raining biopic in Bollywood! As the tinsel town is gearing up for Kapil Dev, Jayalalitha, Gunjan Saxena among other’s biopic here we have another biopic in pipeline. Months ago Rahul Dholakia announced a biopic on former Indian Women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj titled Shabaash Mithu starring Taapsee Pannu in lead.

Well, we have good news for all sports person, in fact, the cricket fan as Karan Johar might back film on BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, getting his real-life in the 70mm. Well, we don't know whether the report is true or not but for sure we can say that something is cooking between the two as often Karan gets clicked outside the BCCI office.

Not just this when Sourav flew down to Mumbai he reportedly met Karan and were heard to be looking for the male lead who will step in the shoes of the former cricketer. Well if the news comes out to be true then Dada’s fan will be on cloud nine and just like MS Dhoni, even this film will surely be a blockbuster.

On the work front, Karan will soon start with the shooting of his most anticipated multi starrer film Takht from March. Meanwhile, his recently released film Bhoot: The Haunted Ship starring Vicky Kaushal didn't garner enough eyeballs as expected.
