Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: When did Ranbir Kapoor meet Aishwarya Rai for the first time?

Ranbir Kapoor's dazzling chemistry with Aishwarya Rai in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has already become talk of the town. While this is the first time wherein the youngest actor from the Kapoor clan is working with Aishwarya Rai, very few know that he first met the diva 18 years back on the sets of Aa Ab Laut Chale.

The picture, that has gone viral on social media, was taken by writer Rumi Jaffry on the sets of the film which sank without a trace. While Aishwarya was a new entrant in this industry, Ranbir Kapoor was a 16-year-old teenager who just wanted to be on the sets of the film directed by his father, Rishi Kapoor.
