After a long break from Bollywood films, actress Ameesha Patel is set to grace the big screen again with Bhaiyyaji Superhitt. The actress has been roped in to play the female lead opposite her Gadar: Ek Prem Katha co-star, Sunny Deol.
The film, which is currently being shot at ND Studios at Karjat, is about 60 per cent complete and the makers are targeting a late 2016 release for the film.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Ameesha Patel said, "60 per cent of it has already been shot. Sunny is the most amazing of all my co-stars till date; he is a great human being. Hopefully, our on-screen chemistry will work wonders again."
The actress also revealed that the film is an out-and-out commercial entertainer.
The film, which will see Sunny Deol in a double role, also stars Preity Zinta and Arshad Warsi.
When asked about director Neeraj Pathak, she said, "He is just amazing. He knows what Sunny and I can do; he gets the best out of us. He has created an out and out commercial entertainer. Preity Zinta, who is also playing one of the lead roles, is someone I am really fond of. And then there is Arshad Warsi. He is terrific as always."
